It is hot outside and your pool is starting to feel like bath water! Read a few tips to help cool your pool water.
Water Features- Fountains and waterfalls can help lower the temperature in your pool by causing water evaporation which cools the water. Running the water feature during the night is most effective.
Ice- Ice can cool your pools water but is not the most effective way to do so. It would take an excessive amount of ice to cool the pool water. We do not suggest this method.
Shade your pool- Consider planting some pool friendly trees that have low litter around the pool area. You may also install an awning to shade the area.
Run your pool filter at night- The air is cooler at night and will act as an imitation evaporative cooling system.
Aerator- This is the easiest and most efficient way to cool your pool water off. Running the aerator at night is most effective.
Pool Cooler- Although pool coolers can be expensive it can make a 10-15 degree difference in the temperature of your pool.
Install misters near the pool- This will help reduce the temperature around the pool and will help the pool waters temperature drop.
