Turning the jets on full blast can cause the water temperature to cool down quickly in the winter.

Check water level
The cold air in the winter can cause the water to evaporate faster so be sure to check water levels frequently.

In the colder months water is know to evaporate quicker. A good hot tub cover will help by keeping the water level and temperatures efficient.
