Traveling? As pools can turn green quickly in AZ heat it is important to have your pool professionally managed during your vacation If you are planning a vacation this summer that lasts longer than a few days we suggest that your pool be professionally managed. Here are a few reasons to have your pool serviced while you are gone. Cleaning: While the heat rises during the summers in Arizona it is hard to keep the water from turning green. Algae grows more rapidly with higher temperatures. Lack of chemicals and the heat can surprise you and turn your water green overnight. Your pool will need cleaning at least once while you are gone. Besides the algae pools can also become damaged from debris if not properly cleared. Chemicals: Come home to a clean sparkling pool with pH levels that are correct. Pool service professionals are better than a neighbor that is not educated on how to take care of a pool during summer months. Safety: Arizona is notorious for their monsoons in the summer. If you have not prepared your pool area, your pool can become damaged. If furniture is not stored properly it can scrape or even chip your pools surface. Storms can also cause electrical surges that can cause devastation your pool's electronic devices. Vistancia pool care will ensure that your pool is kept safe while you are away.

While Arizonans continue the effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 it is recommended that you still continue with keeping your pool clean. Pool service is deemed as an essential bushiness in Arizona. Maintenance is a core detail that pool owners must take into account to keep their retreat running properly. The CDC stated that “there is no evidence that COVID-19 can spread to humans by using pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.” On behalf of Vistancia Pool Care, please stay home and stay safe. We will be available for pool service as needed. If you find that you need to scale back due to these unprecedented times we completely understand and would still love to help. We are here for you and will answer any questions you have about DIY pool maintenance. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released official guidance regarding whether COVID-19 could be transmitted in pools and hot tubs. The CDC explains that there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pool or hot tubs. Proper, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19. These high levels often cause a chlorine block in the water and make it hard for the chlorine to clean the pool. Vistancia Pool Care can test the water for hight levels. If your pool water tests with high levels of CYA and TDS then it is time to drain the water. |
