Vistancia Pool Care will test your pool water to determine if your levels are high. When CYA (Cyanuric Acid) levels get too high in your swimming pool the high levels can cause chlorine lock which basically locks out the chlorine from being submitted into your pool. One of the most economical ways to lower CYA levels in a pool is to drain the pool. High TDS levels in your pool can lead to cloudy or murky water, which makes it difficult to maintain the water balance, reduction in sanitizer activity and foaming. Unfortunately, the only way to reduce TDS is to drain a portion of the water and replace it with fresh water. If you have had cloudy or murky water in your pool, let us know and we can test the CYA and TDS levels in your pool. Vistancia Pool Care recommends draining your pool every 3 to 4 years.
