Chlorine Tablet Shortage in 2021?

Our community has been highly affected by a chlorine shortage. This shortage has been caused by a chlorine fire at Biolab. In Louisiana this Biolab factory caught fire and did not stand a chance. Over 800 tons of trichlor (which is used for chlorine tablets) was burned. The loss of this factory will result in a nation wide shortage that will be seen through the 2021 season. This significant damage has caused pool companies to stock up on as much resources and supplies as possible.
    
This lack of material could lead to a future increase in chlorine pricing. Another option that Vistancia Pool care can offer to our customers is liquid chlorine rather than chlorine tablets.
