Amid "Stay home, Stay healthy, Stay connected" order, pool service is still deemed as an essential business in Arizona during the fight of COVID-19
While Arizonans continue the effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 it is recommended that you still continue with keeping your pool clean. Pool service is deemed as an essential bushiness in Arizona. Maintenance is a core detail that pool owners must take into account to keep their retreat running properly. The CDC stated that “there is no evidence that COVID-19 can spread to humans by using pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.” On behalf of Vistancia Pool Care, please stay home and stay safe. We will be available for pool service as needed. If you find that you need to scale back due to these unprecedented times we completely understand and would still love to help. We are here for you and will answer any questions you have about DIY pool maintenance.
Wishing you the luck of the Irish this St. Patty's Day and all the year through! Thank you for your continued patronage.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released official guidance regarding whether COVID-19 could be transmitted in pools and hot tubs. The CDC explains that there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pool or hot tubs. Proper, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.

Is your pool water cloudy or murky? Vistancia Pool Care can test it to see if your pool has chlorine block.
If your pool has been looking cloudy or non transparent lately it could be due to high levels of CYA and TDS. These high levels often cause a chlorine block in the water and make it hard for the chlorine to clean the pool. Vistancia Pool Care can test the water for hight levels. If your pool water tests with high levels of CYA and TDS then it is time to drain the water.
Best wishes for a Happy Valentine's Day! You are the HEART of our business. Thank you for your continued loyalty and support.
Have your pool deep cleaned with the acid wash technique. Acid washing is an important process for your pool. The process can help by removing hard water strains, which Arizona is known for. If your water is looking murky, green or black it is likely time to have your swimming pool treated. Acid washing renews your pool by removing a thin layer of your pools surface as in the plaster or pebble tec. Let Vistancia pool Care give your swimming pool a fresh new finish just in time for pool season.
We are looking to hire a trustworthy and reliable Pool Service Technician to service and maintain our customers' swimming pools. Vistancia Pool Care will test your pool water to determine if your levels are high. When CYA (Cyanuric Acid) levels get too high in your swimming pool the high levels can cause chlorine lock which basically locks out the chlorine from being submitted into your pool. One of the most economical ways to lower CYA levels in a pool is to drain the pool. High TDS levels in your pool can lead to cloudy or murky water, which makes it difficult to maintain the water balance, reduction in sanitizer activity and foaming. Unfortunately, the only way to reduce TDS is to drain a portion of the water and replace it with fresh water. If you have had cloudy or murky water in your pool, let us know and we can test the CYA and TDS levels in your pool. Vistancia Pool Care recommends draining your pool every 3 to 4 years.
Arizona is known for having hard water which can cause stains in your pool. Having your pool acid washed can reduce hard water stains among algae buildup. It is best to leave this process to a professional service like Vistancia Pool Care because, if it is not done correctly it can cause damage to the surface of your pool. In order for us to acid wash your pool we will need to completely drain the water from it. Winter is the perfect time to do so. Contact us today to schedule an acid wash for your pool.
