Service: Weekly service pricing is based on year-round continued service. There are 48 weeks that are billed for in a year, 4 weeks will be taken off. These weeks include but not limited to are: Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, a week for training classes/continued education, and a 4th week. Chemical levels will be adjusted to accommodate for weeks taken off. Services can be scheduled during weeks off, but needs to be requested and will be charged extra. A service email is sent out after service is completed to verify service for customer.
Maintenance/Repairs: All pool equipment and cleaning systems are expected to be kept in working order. Any work orders not approved (i.e. pool needing to be drained, cleaner parts needing replacement) that are deemed necessary for the proper operation of the pool will cause additional work for routine cleaning and therefore will incur additional charges based on time spent. Vistancia Pool Care needs to be notified of any maintenance/repairs completed by the customer or home warranty company so that a record of the work can be kept on file.
Billing: Weekly service rates are based from a 4-week month, year-round. Billing is done mid-month and is due by the 1st of the following month for the following month’s service. Payment can be made by check, cash, PayPal or credit card/debit card. All credit card payments are done during the last week of the month for weekly service. Repairs are due upon completion. If payment is late without prior notification, all pool services will be suspended after the 30th until full payment is received. Any extra chemical costs and/or trip charges because of resulting issues due to late payment (i.e. green pool, algae, and extra cleanup) will be charged to the customer. A late fee will be implemented for past due accounts. Billing is done by way of email, along with any estimates or work needing to be done. Seven days’ notice is required for termination in email or writing.
Weather: For the technician’s safety, during any excessive heat, rainstorms and/or lightning storms only baskets will be emptied, and chemicals will be checked. There will be no discount/credit given as this will be made up for on the next service visit. If there is freezing weather a chemical only service will be performed.
Customer Responsibilities: Customer is responsible to be sure the pool timers/times are not changed from the set times, as we do so to ensure proper filtration/cleaning. Customer is responsible for letting Vistancia Pool Care know of any on-peak times so that we can make the necessary adjustments to run times. Customer is to make sure that technician has unrestricted access to the pool. Failure to do so can result in extra charges for return visits/chemicals. Customer agrees to maintain all foliage, trees, and shrubs around the pool perimeter. Failure to do so can result in extra charges for cleanup time. It is the responsibility of the customer to empty any/all pump and skimmer baskets during time off as well as after storms to ensure proper pool circulation. Customer is responsible for removing any safety nets and/or pool covers. If cover is on upon arrival a chemical only service will be provided. It is the responsibility of the customer to remove any and all pool furniture and toys from the pool. Any failure to do so can result in damage to cleaning systems and pool surface. It is the responsibility of the customer to contain/restrain their pet(s). Swimming pool is required to have a functioning pool cleaning system (popups, suction side cleaner, etc…) in good operating condition at all times.
Extra Cleaning: In the event the pool requires extra cleaning due to weather, vandalism, poor drainage or other human factors, there will be an additional charge of $75.00 per hour plus chemicals for this additional work.
